Privacy Policy
How USA Lighting collects, uses, and protects your information.
Last updated: July 2, 2026
USA Lighting ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at usalightingdesign.com, to the phone and text-message communications we exchange with you, and to the services we provide.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly and information gathered automatically when you interact with us:
- Contact details you submit through our website forms, by phone, or by text — such as your name, phone number, email address, and property address.
- Project information you share so we can prepare an estimate or design, including photos, service preferences, and scheduling details.
- Communications you have with us, including call and text-message content, and — where our AI receptionist is used — call recordings, transcripts, and voicemail.
- Automatically collected data when you visit our website, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring links, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide estimates, proposals, and design consultations.
- Schedule, perform, and follow up on lighting installation and service work.
- Send you appointment confirmations, service updates, and account or billing information.
- Send you text messages that you have consented to receive (see the SMS section below).
- Operate our AI receptionist to answer calls, capture messages, and route your request to our team.
- Improve our website, services, and customer support, and comply with legal obligations.
SMS / Text Messaging
When you provide your mobile number and opt in, USA Lighting may send you text messages related to your inquiry, appointments, estimates, service updates, and — where you have agreed — occasional promotions.
- Consent: By providing your phone number and opting in through our forms, by phone, or by replying to a message, you agree to receive text messages from us. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.
- Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us.
- Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.
- To opt out at any time, reply STOP to any message. You will receive a one-time confirmation and no further messages.
- For help, reply HELP or contact us at (317) 495-4534.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties or affiliates for any purpose. Information may be shared only with the service providers that help us operate our messaging program (for example, our messaging platform), and only to deliver the messages you requested.
AI Receptionist & Call Handling
We use an AI-powered receptionist to answer calls, capture messages, and help route your request to our team. When you call or message us, your call and message content may be recorded, transcribed, and stored so we can respond and maintain a record of your request. If you prefer not to be recorded, please let us know and we will assist you another way.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers who perform work on our behalf — such as our website host, form and messaging platforms, scheduling tools, and payment processors — under agreements that require them to protect your information.
- Legal and safety reasons when required to comply with the law, respond to legal process, or protect our rights, property, or the safety of others.
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
As noted above, mobile opt-in and text-messaging consent are excluded from all sharing and are never provided to third parties or affiliates.
Cookies & Analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working properly and to understand how it is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some website features.
Data Retention & Security
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide our services, maintain business records, and meet legal requirements, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information; however, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your Choices & Rights
- You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
- You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the email or by contacting us.
- You may request that we access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to legal limits.
Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
